The Barstow Prophets are a Temecula Valley based bar band. Guitarist Chris Whelton, bassist Mike Bacarella and drummer Matt Jones, and various friends of the band, deliver a strong dose of 70's, 80's and 90's rock 'n roll.

This is no cover band however. The Prophets pride themselves on avoiding the typical and predictable "classics" and instead speed down the backroads of rock, funk, blues and country known as American music. If you are sick of hearing Brown Eyed Girl, Taking Care of Business and Crazy Train for the 100th time, you need to see this band.
